Cookie Photoshoot
I had the opportunity to rebuild a studio project from two years prior, and gladly took the chance to improve my cookie photoshoot. As seen in the original pictures at the bottom of the page, my lighting was harsh and my shadows were too heavy to look natural. For the rebuild, I made sure to use a large softbox to ensure that my shadows were much softer and gave the impression of a kitchen window. Next, I added some life via more color in the props rather than sticking with the original black and white theme. My final major change was to include a mix of 45° and 90° to provide variety in my shots.
My final results were a major improvement from the original. Two years of studio experience between these shoots gave me a better sense of the equipment and the composition of my shots.
