Senior Honors Thesis Portraits
During my senior year, I researched and interviewed multiple Kent State students as a part of my thesis, which focused on the visual communication of clothing; how said students used fashion to express themselves and how they wanted to be perceived. My whole goal in this project was to expose the diversity present in college student fashion, showcasing the range of styles across majors. This project included researching and summarizing background information, along with photographing the participants and editing the resulting pictures, culminating in a successful defense at the end of the year in which I presented my findings and fielded questions about my research.
The photos displayed below were the final pictures submitted and presented, with one picture for each subject.
