Design Focus: Layouts, Social Media Graphics, Logos
I worked as a graphic design intern for Turner Construction Company, which gave me a good experience in learning more about graphic design in the corporate environment. My primary assignment was making multiple RFQ documents, along with logos, social media posts, and a myriad of other assignments. The final deliverables were the products of weeks of creation, review, and revision. By the end of my time with Turner, I had a better sense of a future job, as well as the design principles of the assignments I completed.

Request For Qualifications
The biggest assignment of my internship was making multi-page layouts, or Request For Qualifications. I was tasked with creating new templates that the company could use in the future. I made six versions in total, those being vertical and landscape versions for three different offices, all with large amounts of text and imagery. From start to finish, I revised these pages numerous times along with looking to other publications for inspiration. I also gained more experience in making infographics, along with finding unique ways to call out different facts.

For the Self-Perform Operations Brochure, I utilized a previous design and modified the formatting, headers, and photos to fit the content I was working with.

Logos
I was given the opportunity to make several logos, mostly for internal use. These ranged from recreational events to a sticker handed out at a city parade. Concepts were provided by my team or ideated by myself, and created with Illustrator.
Social Media Posts
I created a number of social media posts that were put onto various social platforms, ranging from holidays to work anniversaries to account banners for LinkedIn. I always looked at examples, sketched, and made the foundation of each post.
